My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

At just 3 months old, Sage is a feisty little bundle of energy with a heart full of bravery! This curious and smart pup is afraid of nothing and is eager to explore the world around her. She loves people, gets along well with other dogs, and even lives peacefully with cats.
Sage is an affectionate and social puppy who's always up for a belly rub and some snuggles. She adores attention and is very food-motivated, which makes training easy and fun. Though she's little, she has the confidence and energy to keep up with her much larger canine housemates. This pup has the perfect mix of mettle and sweetness!
Sage is kennel trained and sleeps through the night like a pro. She already knows basic commands like "sit, "wait, and "back and is mostly house-trained. She's working on her leash skills but sometimes tires out after a half-mile walk, typical for her young age. Her foster mom reports that Sage is a great listener and is picking up on new training quickly!
Sage would thrive in an active, loving home that can provide her with plenty of playtime, training, and snuggles. A family with other pets would be wonderful, as she loves her furry friends, but she'd also be happy in a home where she's the center of attention. If you're looking for a brave, fun-loving puppy who's ready to fill your life with joy and laughter, Sage is the perfect fit!

Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard.

If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home.

HOW TO APPLY: From Petfinder.com The fastest way to get to the adoptable dog page is to copy and then paste this link into your browser: https://unitedanimalfriends.org/adoptable-dogs/

When you are on the UAF website Select "Adoptable Dogs" and pick the dog you are interested in. To apply to adopt, go into the dog's profile, and click the gray "Apply for Adoption" button to get started.

More about this rescue

United Animal Friends (UAF) is a volunteer-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit group founded in 2003. Our mission is to provide rescue programs and services to animals and those who care for them. In addition to rescuing, spaying and neutering, fostering, and finding homes for dogs and cats, UAF provides many services for residents of Yavapai County and their pets. Our Spay/Neuter Certificate Program, Community Pet Food Bank and Emergency Medical Program help hundreds of people and pets each year.
