Say hello to adorable Gus! Gus is a male 2.5 year old mini goldendoodle who weighs about 30 - 35 pounds. He previously lived with a family with young children, but they said he was too high energy and needed training. They decided to surrender him. Gus in now in a foster home where he is living with other small dogs and a 3 year old child. He seems to do best with dogs his size or smaller, and not too much energy. Gus loves most people. It does take him a moment to warm up to men, but with patience and a few treats he is fine. Gus does have some energy, and loves walks/runs and playing fetch. Gus will need an adopter committed to exercising him enough to burn up his energy. A fenced yard is preferred so he can run and play freely, however if there isn't a fenced yard then he will require several walks/runs a day. He is a very smart boy and enjoys treats, which makes training easier. He knows sit, Kennel and down. Gus attaches very quickly to his main human. He is completely potty trained, and although he doesn't love his crate, he will go in it when you say "kennel". He has been eating his meals in his crate. Gus's adoption fee is $425 which goes towards neutering at our vet, vaccines and medical care up to adoption, microchip and costs associated with fostering.
