Queen and King are looking for a new home! Their owner has had major health issues and can no longer care for them as needed. They have not been around other dogs outside of each other or cats but have been super friendly with people. Preferably shepherd experience since they haven't had any exposure outside of their home. They can be adopted separately and would do best separately.

Queen is very playful, outgoing, and full of puppy youthfullness despite being almost 3 years old.

Fees range from $80 to $150 depending on age and breed.

We have a weekly adoption fair at Petco in Danville, Va. where we bring some of our dogs and cats. Most are fostered in members' homes. If you see a dog on our web site, please call us and we will make an appointment for you to meet. We make every effort to match the dogs with their prospective homes. More about this rescue

We are a group of dedicated volunteers formed in 2007 to increase adoptions and reduce the kill rate from our local pound. We foster, vet, transfer and love all the dogs that we rescue and make every possible effort to place them in forever loving homes. We also operate a food bank to help keep pets in their homes. We are totally dependent on volunteers and donations from animal lovers like ourselves. We are saving and placing 20-30 dogs a month who would have been euthanized.
