This helps Atlanta Lab Rescue with pet care costs.
Reba is an eight-year-old, 40-pound lab mix who lived on the streets of a small TN town for 3 years with her buddy, six-year-old, 70-pound Waylon. Finally, the city got tired of the complaints and had the county animal control come to get them. The pair was at the shelter for 6 months until their time was up. A local rescue stepped in to get them before they were euthanized, and they’ve had them for 2 years. The rescue is in a very rural area in Appalachia that was affected by the hurricane, and finding housing for the dogs has become very difficult, so they have reached out to us for help. The two are best friends and have been through thick and thin together. They love to run around in a fenced-in area and are good on a leash, crate-trained, housebroken, and good with other dogs. They are very food- and praise-motivated and are total sweethearts who deserve a better life than kennels. If you want to change their lives by fostering or giving them a forever home, please go to www.atlantalabrescue.com and apply or email atlantalab979@gmail.com for more information.
