My name is Cane Jacob!

Hi, I'm Cane Jacob!  I just recently arrived at my foster's house, and my foster mom already calls me a Velcro boy. I am about as sweet as they come and don’t like leaving her side. I even sleep on a dog bed next to her side of the bed. 

I already have pretty good house manners.  I am working on not jumping up, but I get a little excited when it is feeding time. Right now, I have to eat separately from the other dogs because I wolf down my food and then try to eat everyone else’s in the household. Oops! My foster mom tried a slow feeder bowl, but it didn’t slow me down enough! 

My foster mom is working with me on my house manners. I sometimes gently jump up on her and hug her because I am a complete love bug. She loves me too but told me that isn’t the best behavior. I am also learning about using a crate; it is not my favorite thing, but I eventually settle. I can't help it if I prefer to be with the other dogs or beside my humans. Otherwise, I am an angel.

I love to play with BALLS!  Tennis balls, rubber balls, any kind of ball. I chase them inside and outside and sometimes walk holding a ball. I passed a tennis lesson and was excited to see hundreds of balls everywhere! I got so excited the instructor gave me one. I walk nicely on a leash and love to ride in the car.  Hollywood Feed is one of my favorite stores, and it has so many treats. 

I get very excited when I meet new people, and I smile. I have beautiful, soulful eyes that humans stare into and say I melt their hearts.   

I am just a happy 6-month-old boy loving my new life. I have a fenced yard, but I only wander around if my foster mom accompanies me. Otherwise, I run outside to potty and come right back. 

My foster mom told me I was very handsome and that the small white tip on my tail meant an angel had kissed me. I guess that’s why I was lucky enough to become an Angel with Angels Among Us Pet Rescue!
