[Located in Seattle] Honey is a beautiful 5 year young GSD who had a ruff start to life. You could see it in her body, her eyes, her skin + fur, and her poorly neglected ears + teeth We don't know where she was before the shelter or how she ended up in the shelter but she looks like another beautiful dog who was overbred + then dumped by the only family she knew when they couldn't use her anymore. Thankfully, we were able to pull Honey from the shelter with only 15 minutes left before her final notice expired.

As soon as we got Honey out of the shelter and into her foster home, she became a different dog - calm, trusting, + luving. Honey continues to come out of her shell with her doting foster. She enjoys going for walks, has a healthy appetite, is house-trained, and the sweetest luv bug who adores humans!

Honey is being fostered with 3 other dogs (raining in size from small to large) and does great with them - no resource or food guarding, can eat out of the same bowl as the other dogs, and shares her space and bones. She can live with other dogs with slow and proper introductions, and time to adjust to her new home and fur siblings. Honey also lives with a cat and has shown little interest in the cat. We recommend her going to a home without kids or with older, calm, and dog-experienced kids because we don't know if she had any experience with kids before we rescued her and hasn't had any exposure to them with her foster.
