My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Oreo, he’s such a hunk of love and sweetness, he will steal your heart (and your lap). He has a sweetness to him that is infectious, and he has the kindest personality. Oreo is just the best! He is playful, energetic and kind. He’s always so happy and when he meets new people he will lean into you for extra back scratches. He longs for your attention and loves his treats. He is housebroken, leash and crate trained, he’s just about perfect. Oreo is a big teddy bear, he will make everyday better, all he is missing is his own family.

Oreo is hw ( heartworm) negative, fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped.

More about this rescue

Northbound Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting primarily independent rescuers in rural North Western Mississippi. With many of these communities battling overpopulation, low local adoption rates and climbing medical bills, Northbound Rescue forms a partnership with these rescuers to assist them with medical care, fundraising, transport and rescue efforts in the Northeast.
Our vision is to help our partners in Mississippi get their animals proper medical care and find them their forever home in the Northeast.
Why we do it... every animal deserves to be loved safe and cared for, we are their voice.
