Oh, Annabelle! She looks like the most kissy face, iconic little tabbygirl, dressed in silky charcoal grays and elegant black stripes. And she is! But she’s also “the firecracker personality among her sibs”, according to her great foster dad! That impish smile reflects her spunky nature that has her bouncing and pouncing with her lively siblings and even adult cats five times her size! She may act like a little “toughie”, but she’s a cuddler at heart and will be found curled in the middle of a pile of kitties or in the coziness of your welcoming lap when it’s available! This cutiepie has also gotten along with dogs. Happy, easy-going, can-do tabby girls could effortlessly run the world in a furry alternate universe, but adorable Annabelle would just love to be the irresistible sparkler in your life!

All cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, treated for fleas and ear mites, tested for FELV/FIV and microchipped. You must fill out an adoption application and talk directly with one of our adoption coordinators. An adoption contract must be signed at time of adoption.

You may visit The Cat House daily, except major holidays, 1-4 pm, by appointment only. We also have an off-site adoption center located inside Petco at 4144 N. Blackstone at Ashlan in Fresno, which is open open daily 10am-5pm and Wednesday 10am-6pm.

The Cat House on the Kings is California's largest no-cage, no-kill, lifetime cat sanctuary and adoption center located on 12 acres along the Kings River in Parlier, California, which is in the central San Joaquin Valley, southeast of Fresno.

At The Cat House, our mission is to:
1) provide a no-cage, no-kill sanctuary for feral and abandoned cats and kittens for the State of California, primarily serving the Central Valley;
2) facilitate the adoption of cats (primarily), dogs and other rescued animals into safe, loving, healthy and permanent homes;
3) educate the public on how to become directly involved in improving the quality of animal welfare;
4) offer low cost spay and neuter referrals.
