Update 8/26/10:Welcome Scruffles!

Scruffles is a 6 year old Terrier-mix. She was just rescued from a local kill shelter in the nick of time!

Scruffles is being fostered by one of our volunteers until she finds her forever home. Her foster family describes her as a real sweetheart. So far Scruffles seems to do well with cats and dogs. She also loves to be picked up. Her foster mom says she is a "definite lap dog"!

As we learn more about Scruffles, we will update this posting.

If you are interested in adopting Scruffles, please fill out an online application at www.sadiemaefoundation.org. Scruffles is fully vaccinated and spayed. $300 adoption donation, vet reference check and home visit apply.

Note: We ordinarily limit adoptions to homes within CT or no more than an hour or so drive from our kennel in order to be able to conduct a home visit and provide follow-up assistance when necessary. Exceptions are considered on a case-by-case basis.
