Welcome Lani! Lani is a dazzling mix of maturity and beauty, inside and out! Lani is a happy, confident and friendly dog who knows her way around a leash and a crate. She gets along with everyone, has 'just right' medium energy, a sweet demeanor and she's a great size weighing around 40lbs full grown. This recently retired momma, this gal is an adult and eager to receive all the love and care she deserves from what's sure to be one very lucky forever family. Don't wait - fill out an adoption request and make an appointment to meet her!
**Volunteer Dog Walker feedback: "Lani was an absolute pleasure to walk with. She is a sweet girl and was good with other dogs and especially people. She did not pull on the leash and listened to some commands. Lani does prefer to have the leash long. And liked some treats. She loves pets, lots of kisses and hugs! I know you shouldn't have favorites.....but Lani is definitely a favorite"!
Weekend Host commented: "We had a great weekend with Lani! She is a sweet dog who was an easy guest. " "She did great on the leash and didn't mind other dogs. She stayed relatively quiet all weekend, even when introduced to other dogs on walks. " "She did just fine in the car." "We have four kids, and she did not seem phased by their affection or chaos. (Our youngest is almost 7, so there were no babies or toddlers.)" "She would be an absolutely perfect dog for someone who is looking for a companion without the puppy energy! She was very sweet and while she was happy to be near us, she was fine laying in the sun by herself!"

All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their vaccines, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member.
If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, please complete an Adoption Application at our website: savinggracenc.org
Sending an Application does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. Please review our Adoption Contract before sending an Application to ensure that you will be able to provide the requirements stated in the contract. The Contract must be signed at the time of adoption.
Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.

More about this rescue
Located in central North Carolina and officially established in 2004, Saving Grace has placed over 15,000 dogs into homes since its inception. These dogs were from rural animal control facilities with little resources and who would otherwise not had the opportunity to receive necessary veterinary care and a chance at adoption. While we have grown significantly over the years and have been successful growing our numbers we still see many great dogs miss the opportunity of adoption.
We have a large variety of dogs varying in breed, size, shape, age and needs and would love to work with you to find you a great dog companion while providing a dog in need with a loving home. Our dogs are chosen based on temperament and socialization. We get some of the most charming, unique mix breeds as well as some striking purebreds. Our dogs come from rural, underserved areas and while they may have little experience as an indoor family member, they have the temperament and personality that is sure to bring much love and appreciation to their new home. Most have started their crate training while in our program. Veterinary care including spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test, vaccinations, monthly preventatives are provided prior to each adoption. If you would like more information about adopting one of our dogs, please email savinggrace@savinggracenc.org
