Here's what the humans have to say about me:
URGENT: Can you help me? I need a FOSTER home or an ADOPTIVE home by 11/15/2024. I am currently in Texas awaiting my second chance. Not all pups are lucky enough to get out but, with your help, I may just have that chance! If you can help, please apply online: www.HBWI.org.
Wilson’s story is nothing short of a miracle. He ended up in a high-kill Texas shelter with just minutes left, but our rescue partners couldn’t let this sweet guy’s story end there! Wilson is a lovable Retriever mix who’s great with other dogs, adores kids, and has the cutest smile that’ll melt your heart. He’s looking for a family to share his big heart and start a new chapter filled with love. Come meet him—you’ll see why he’s so easy to fall for!
FEE INCLUDES: Adopting an adult dog (6 months or older) includes spaying/neutering, vaccinations, deworming, flea & tick prevention, heartworm testing, and microchipping.
For dogs under 6 months, they receive age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, flea/tick prevention, and microchipping. All dogs are spayed/neutered by 6 months, covered within the adoption fee. The procedure must be done at one of our partner clinics.
To begin the adoption process, please submit an application on our website: www.hbwi.org/adopt. Once approved, you'll have the opportunity to meet our available dogs. Following the meeting, you can initiate a 5-day Adoption Trial, allowing you to take the dog home. This trial period is designed to ensure the dog is a match for you and aligns with your lifestyle. After the 5-day trial, if all goes well, the adoption will be finalized. Additionally, we require a home visit once the dog is settled in its new home to ensure a smooth transition for both the dog and the adopter.
