My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Champion and I'm at the Santa Barbara Campus. I'm a 2 year old male Pitbull Terrier who is eager for a new home! I am hoping that I can be the Champion of your heart and win you over with my silly loving personality. I came from an overcrowded shelter and they said that I loved to be a surrogate dad to puppies. When I am not helping puppies I am a silly goofy boy who is ready to find an active home that will help me burn my energy and snuggle with me. I love my toys and will often ask you to play tug a war with me, but know when to settle when it is needed.

Interested in meeting me? Adoption Centers are open daily 12-4:30pm, closed Wednesdays. Adoptions are on a first-come first served basis. For more information please email Adopt@SBHumane.org or call 805-964-4777.

When I am adopted, I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adopters will receive a certificate for a free veterinary exam and our partners at Purina will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home.
