Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Bren is an absolute sweetheart who was found running around by the police on Halloween. She must've been out looking for candy, but instead found herself in the shelter.
Can you help Bren find herself a forever home that will provide her with all of the love she deserves?
Behavior Notes:
Per volunteer 11/4: Bren was an absolute sweetheart. Loved to be cuddled and petted. Easy on the leash and not reactive towards other dogs.
11/1/24 staff behavior evaluation
KENNEL PRESENTATION:
Bren was in a side bank laying down and got up with soft eyes and a wagging tail. She allowed easy leashing and came right out.
LEASH SKILLS:
Pulled moderately
HANDLING:
In the yard, Bren was sniffing around the yard and ignored the handlers for a bit but once she became more aware of her surroundings, she came up with low wags and hopped up for affection. She gets very nervous when you approach her directly and prefers a lower approach or for her to come up to you. She did not take any treats and did not seem to know any tricks. She was a bit nervous but allowed all handling once we were down at her level. She needs lots of time and baby talk to get warmed up but once she does, she is the sweetest girl. She even took treats after some time and like to run away with them before eating it.
