My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Zeus, an adult dog with a heart as big as his namesake`s mythology. Zeus has a sweet, playful, and energetic personality that radiates joy to everyone around him. His days are filled with chasing after toys, giving affectionate nuzzles, and playfully bounding around his enclosure. He`s the perfect companion for active families or individuals who enjoy the outdoors and physical activity. Zeus`s zest for life is infectious, making every day an adventure. He`s not just looking for a home, but a family to share his boundless love and energy with. Adopting Zeus means gaining a loyal friend, a playful companion, and a source of daily joy. His only wish is to share his love and playfulness with a forever family. Adopt Zeus and experience the pure joy of unconditional love.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
