My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dilly was born sometime in July 2024 most likely. She is a very happy outgoing pup that loves other dogs and people of all ages. She is crate trained and does well on potty training. She has learned to sit. She is most likely a Beauceron mix due to her very interesting low riding back double dew claws. They are French short haired herding types. She would love to find a home for the holidays. She won't be fully vetted until sometime before 10/31 so she is a preadopt. Are you her family? Fill out the form at www.anewleash.org.

More about this rescue

A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
