My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, I'm Finnick! Even though I don't have ears, I'm still great at listening. I love to play, learn new tricks, and snuggle up close. My brother and I are a team; we've been through a lot together. He's my best friend and we love to do everything together. I'm gentle with everyone I meet and I'm told I have a heart of gold. I might be young, but I'm full of love to give. I'm looking for a family who will embrace my unique charm and share endless cuddles. Adopting me means adopting a loyal friend, a playful companion, and a loving soul. Will you be my forever family?

More about this shelter

Founded in 1971 as the Animal Aid Society of Englewood, Suncoast Humane Society began with a few cages where people left stray animals to be cared for. Over the years, our service area has grown to include over 400 square miles, covering three counties: Sarasota, Charlotte and portions of Lee.
Suncoast Humane Society provides a safe refuge for thousands of lost, abandoned and abused animals from our service area each year. We are committed to our open-door policy of never turning any animal away, regardless of health, temperament, breed or circumstances.
