Hi, I'm Lefty! I may be young, but I've got a heart full of love to give. My brother and I are pretty tight, and we make a great team. I'm a quick learner, always eager to please, and I've got a gentle soul. I may be missing an ear, but that doesn't stop me from being the sweetest, friendliest, and cuddliest pup around. I love to play, but I also enjoy a good cuddle session. I'm looking for a family that can give me lots of love, and in return, I promise to be the best companion you could ever ask for.

Founded in 1971 as the Animal Aid Society of Englewood, Suncoast Humane Society began with a few cages where people left stray animals to be cared for. Over the years, our service area has grown to include over 400 square miles, covering three counties: Sarasota, Charlotte and portions of Lee.
Suncoast Humane Society provides a safe refuge for thousands of lost, abandoned and abused animals from our service area each year. We are committed to our open-door policy of never turning any animal away, regardless of health, temperament, breed or circumstances.
