This little silver/brownish/gray tabby girl came to TCR when one of TCR's fosters saved her and her 3 siblings from deplorable living conditions. The morning our foster was going to pick them up, their mom was let outside and unfortunately was hit by a car. Petals and her siblings were barely old enough to eat on their own, thin, sick, and covered in fleas. With some TLC, we were able to nurse them back to health. Eventually, Petals' little gang joined momma Angela and her 5 babies and they grew into one large, chaotic, happy family!
Petals is very sweet but a little reserved at first. She can come off as shy but her personality is a just a little bit calmer than the rest of the gang. Shes used to taking naps while chaos is happening around her. As soon as she wakes up though, she's ready to party with you and the rest of her family! She loves loves loves:
-attention (pets, ear scratches, gentle lap time, and playing)
-napping in a cat tree... it's really the best spot in the house
-bird watching
-any toy or anything the resembles a toy
-chaos and wreaking havoc while wrestling with her siblings
This girl would do great in a variety of homes. She absolutely needs a young, active, and playful cat buddy (perhaps when one of her many siblings!) Petals would do well with children of all ages, but may be a little more shy at first so she'll likely need the proper intros and the normal adjustment when going to a new home. She has not met dogs yet, but we do believe that with proper and slow introductions she would get along great with a dog friend!
Petals is about 4 months old, spayed, vaccinated, FIV/FELV tested negative, microchipped, dewormed, and flea treated. If this sweet, napping-loving girl sounds like a match for you, apply for her today!

Additional adoption info
We try to do our best to make sure we find good fitting, responsible homes, without wasting a lot of our time. Our app has a lot of screening questions which help eliminate potential adopters who might not be serious (they usually just don't return the app), or not a good fit, which is why the in depth interview happens once the app is returned.

We are a small but dedicated 501c3 nonprofit cat rescue specializing in making one person's garbage kitten another person's forever cat.
Our mission is to reduce feline suffering and overpopulation using a combination of TNR and adoptions. We foster and socialize whenever we have the resources to do so, including behavioral cats and kittens who might otherwise just be candidates for TNR.
