Puddin’s story is one of resilience and sweetness. This lovable senior was sadly left behind when his previous owners moved away, but fortunately, a family member found him and brought him to us. It’s hard to fathom how anyone could abandon such a wonderful companion, as Puddin has shown us nothing but kindness and affection since arriving.
Puddin is a social butterfly who’s not only great with other dogs but also gentle and patient with children—and even cats! He has a calm and loving nature that makes him the ideal addition to almost any home, and despite his past, he has so much love to give.
At about 8 years old, Puddin has had his share of challenges. His previous care was inconsistent, so he developed a history of ear infections, which are now easily managed with regular cleanings and the occasional medication. Puddin also seems to have some vision impairment, but it doesn’t hold him back; he navigates his surroundings confidently and enjoys every moment outdoors. One of his most endearing habits is his signature “high-kick dance” that he performs whenever he’s out on a walk or playing in the yard—he kicks up his feet with gusto, adding a bit of extra flair to his step!
Puddin would thrive with an adopter who has experience with senior dogs, someone who understands the unique joys of helping an older dog live comfortably and happily. He deserves a home that will shower him with love and provide the stability and devotion he’s missed out on in the past. In the right home, Puddin can enjoy his golden years, finally secure in the knowledge that he’ll never be left behind again. Interested? Please inquire today!

More about this rescue
Pug Nation Rescue of Los Angeles is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, care, and placement of abandoned, neglected, unwanted, displaced, and abused pugs. Our goal is to find every homeless pug a forever home; if we cannot do that, we pledge to provide a comfortable and loving place for sick or unwanted pugs to live out their lives. Our Board of five and numerous volunteers are passionate about Pug Rescue and live by our motto of “One Pug at a Time”. We feel that through our efforts we can change many of these forgotten Pug’s lives. In order to find our Pugs a home as soon as possible, we hold at least three adoption fairs a month and also organize a number of fundraising events, including the annual Pugtacular festival and Legendary Bingo at Hamburger Mary’s in West Hollywood. These events and on-line fundraising have provided the money to help pay for vet treatments, medicine and loving care at our Pug Station. We rely on the generosity of our supporters through donations and participation in our fundraising activities. If you would like to make a donation, find out about the next event, become a volunteer, foster, or adopt your own rescue pug, you are in the right place! You can also follow us on Facebook and twitter, there is always something going on and new pugs needing your help.
