Daisy is a beautiful grey tortie who is almost 5 years old (born 11/26/2019). She doesn’t have the sometimes typical tortie attitude though – she is super sweet. She needs to be adopted with her sister (not litter mate) Ella. Both girls are sweethearts and are front declawed. They do all the things you would suspect bonded cats to do – they groom each other, cuddle, and play together so separating them is not an option. They even like to sit on their previous mom’s lap together at the same time!
Daisy likes to talk and she is also a great “watch kitty” and will sometimes even growl lightly like a dog when she hears someone coming up the walk. She isn’t an aggressive kitty though and of course the visitor outside doesn’t even know she has done it but she likes to show her protective side towards her family with that light little “growl” which can be quite endearing.
Daisy is fine being picked up and enjoys sitting on your lap when you are enjoying a show or reading a good book. She also likes to explore during the day if her family is busy moving around. She has a quiet purr and is okay with being brushed. Daisy enjoys playing with little toy mice and motion action toys.
Her previous family had grandchildren ranging from 8-14 and she did just fine with them but younger children will not be the best fit because they will likely be too rambunctious for her so a home with older children or adults only will be the best fit. She is afraid of dogs and we don’t know how she may be with cats other than her favorite buddy, Ella.
Daisy will most likely hide initially when strangers come over but once she is familiar with someone, she will happily spend time with them and socialize. And if you would let her sleep with you, she would happily oblige.
Daisy and Ella are super sweet young gals who will bless your home and family with lots of love and joy for many years to come. Ask about them today.
