My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This girl just weaned a litter of kittens, and had been terribly abused at the shelter. She had been hit with something sharp on the head cracking her skull and causing emotional trauma. She has since physically healed but she still needs more time before trusting humans again. She has gotten better with allowing people near her to clean her litter box, feed her, change bedding, ect. She is hoping for a home where the people have patience and will sit in the room and talk to her. She hisses at first with new people but then likes to watch you talk to her. It may take 2 years but I think she has the capacity to trust again.

Go meet their pets

I am trying to open a publically accessible venue for the animals but right now I work with fosters and have a couple at my home.

More about this rescue

I am a groomer of 16 years, I have been a certified vet assistant for 13 years, I've done doggie dentals for 10 years, and have been doing dog training for 14 years. I have been rescuing animals for over 20 years but now decided to get my 501C3 license in honor of my old pitty who died in January 2011. I still have a hole in my heart for my old girl. She was a rescue from a dog fighting ring and she touched my heart.
