My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

A22786 Martina is a grey colored, approximately 2-year-old, 4-pound, spayed female, Domestic Short-Haired Cat.
She entered the shelter as an owner surrender on 10-24-2024 due to the fact they have to many cats.
Martina is a friendly, shy girl here at the shelter. Our staff says she is definitely scared in this shelter environment and is trying to figure out what's going on. She likes to hide in the back of her kennel or under a blanket to feel safe. In the playroom she seeks furniture to hide underneath. She would benefit from an adult only home and an experienced cat owner who will give her time to adjust at her own speed. Once she is comfortable with you, she enjoys affection and will close her eyes while you pet her. Before that she might hiss at you, letting you know she is unsure and scared. The previous owner says she is litterbox trained and has lived with other cats and dogs. Martina will be a loving, loyal companion in her new forever home.
