Meet DASH!! He will Dash his way right into your heart! This young puppy was found as a stray so not much is known about where he came from. He looks mostly Labrador but has something else mixed in there too. It's a bit early to tell what that breed is, but our guess is that it is large and most likely one of the Northern breeds. Dash is a confident and happy guy and is ready for a new place to call home where he can learn how to be the best dog ever! We fully suspect that he will be a large dog when full grown so he will need a home where he can stretch his legs and get the proper structure, training and exercise he will require. He has been very friendly with everyone he has met so far and seems to like the other dogs.

At City of Vancouver Animal Services, we have a foster-to-adopt program whereby prospective new owners foster the adoptable animal for 21 days before committing to adoption. This ensures that both the new owner and the adoptable animal are well suited to each other.

Donation

We gratefully accept monetary donations, as well as donations of supplies for dogs and small animals. Monetary donations are used to help pay for veterinary care and supplies, particularly for stray animals that have extraordinary medical issues that must be treated before they are ready to be adopted. Tax receipts are issued for donations of $20 or more. How to make a monetary donation: -Cheques payable to “City of Vancouver” can be mailed to: Animal Shelter, 1280 Raymur Avenue, Vancouver V6A 3L8 -Call 311 and ask to be transferred to Animal Services to pay by credit card -Email your name and phone number to animal.services@vancouver.ca We will phone you to request your credit card details. If you let us know a convenient time to call, we’ll do our best to call you then. -Visit Animal Services at 1280 Raymur Avenue We accept cash, cheque, debit or credit card
