My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pleased to meet you. I'm Times New Roman, a distinguished gentleman much like the classic font I'm named after. I am a quiet and gentle giant and an absolute sweetheart. I love to be held and will politely reach up for hugs and to be picked up and held like a baby. I adore nose boops, forehead kisses, and belly scratches. I'm already a pretty big boy and will try to curl up on top of you, so no need for a weighted blanket. My little purr motor is always running when my people are around.

In case it comes up, I'm not the quickest to integrate with cats I don't know, but once I do, I'll be their cuddle buddy for life. I'll need my family to have patience and be willing to spend time with me and my new acquaintance, together, until I can see they're not a threat.

Now, let's talk about the elephant in the room. I do have feline leukemia virus (FeLV), but please don't write me off just yet! Let me tell you about it. Having FeLV, I will need my family to keep a very close eye on my health. This means watching for any changes in behavior, eating, drinking, or bathroom habits, physical changes anywhere on my body... no observation is too small with FeLV, and my family should get guidance from my veterinarian whenever you notice anything. My immune system can be more fragile than a cat without FeLV, so when something comes up, it's important to act fast to avoid compounding symptoms. FeLV is only contagious to other cats, so if I have a feline buddy, they should also be FeLV-positive. I'll promise you one thing - FeLV has no hold on how much I'll love my family and how much joy we'll bring to each other's lives!

You can learn more specifics of FeLV here:

My siblings and I are little warriors. Our kitty mama unexpectedly passed away when we were only a week and a half old, and we battled and defeated many health issues as tiny neonates. We were dealt a lousy hand at life, but we have overcome every obstacle and become happy, vibrant kittens, full of life and personality. We'll continue to thrive with the love from our future families.

I'd love a chance to show you just how amazing a sweetheart like me can be, and I'd be thrilled to be adopted with any of my six other littermates (Arial, Basil, Comic Sans, Helvetica, Nutmeg, Wingdings)! I hope we can meet soon!

More about this rescue

Tenth Life's Mission:
Giving cats the lives they deserve.
At Tenth Life, we believe that every cat, regardless of emotional or physical limitations, deserves the chance at a fulfilling and happy life.
We provide veterinary care, foster homes, and adoptive placement to stray cats and kittens, prioritizing those with special needs. We work to end unnecessary euthanasia and cat homelessness through educational outreach, community programs, and collaborative partnerships.

Only when a trusted veterinarian determines that a cat is in a state of incurable suffering, does Tenth Life relieve them of their pain through gentle and humane euthanasia. This difficult and thoughtful decision is never made in response to a lack of space, negative behaviors, or because a cat's medical needs are challenging or expensive.
