My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

'Hey, I just met you... and this is CrAzy... but I already love you... so take me home maybe??' Carly Rae Jepsen ain't got nothin' on me when it comes to writing you a love song.

Hello, future cuddle buddy! My name is Comic Sans, and I just LOVE loving you! Some might call me clingy, but I prefer intensely adoring. Personal space? Never heard of it. Please just hold me and snuggle me and give me nose kisses allllll day. When you walk into the room, I'll greet you with the most pathetic and precious whine you've ever heard. Totally not guilt tripping you into giving me pets... I would never... Sometimes my foster mom puts me in the kangaroo pocket of a special kitty sweatshirt she has while she's doing chores, and I love it! A velcro kitty's dream, I tell ya.

Okay, don't worry, I'm not THAT needy. I'm still good doing my own thing when you're busy or not around! I just really want you to know how much I'll love you. I guarantee you'll enjoy watching how gracefully I move about... just kidding; I'm the BIGGEST klutz. Just like my namesake, you can't take me seriously.

Now, let's talk about the elephant in the room. I do have feline leukemia virus (FeLV), but please don't write me off just yet! Let me tell you about it. Having FeLV, I will need my family to keep a very close eye on my health. This means watching for any changes in behavior, eating, drinking, or bathroom habits, physical changes anywhere on my body... no observation is too small with FeLV, and my family should get guidance from my veterinarian whenever you notice anything. My immune system can be more fragile than a cat without FeLV, so when something comes up, it's important to act fast to avoid compounding symptoms. FeLV is only contagious to other cats, so if I have a feline buddy, they should also be FeLV-positive. I'll promise you one thing - FeLV has no hold on how much I'll love my family and how much joy we'll bring to each other's lives!

You can learn more specifics of FeLV here:

My siblings and I are little warriors. Our kitty mama unexpectedly passed away when we were only a week and a half old, and we battled and defeated many health issues as tiny neonates. We were dealt a lousy hand at life, but we have overcome every obstacle and become happy, vibrant kittens, full of life and personality. We'll continue to thrive with the love from our future families.

I'd love a chance to show you just how amazing a super lover like me can be, and I'd be so thrilled to be adopted with any of my six other littermates (Arial, Basil, Helvetica, Nutmeg, Times New Roman, Wingdings)! HUGS AND KISSES! I ALREADY LOVE YOU!

More about this rescue

Tenth Life's Mission:
Giving cats the lives they deserve.
At Tenth Life, we believe that every cat, regardless of emotional or physical limitations, deserves the chance at a fulfilling and happy life.
We provide veterinary care, foster homes, and adoptive placement to stray cats and kittens, prioritizing those with special needs. We work to end unnecessary euthanasia and cat homelessness through educational outreach, community programs, and collaborative partnerships.

Only when a trusted veterinarian determines that a cat is in a state of incurable suffering, does Tenth Life relieve them of their pain through gentle and humane euthanasia. This difficult and thoughtful decision is never made in response to a lack of space, negative behaviors, or because a cat's medical needs are challenging or expensive.

To learn more about some of the cats we prioritize, visit our website, www.tenthlifecats.org. Thank you!
