Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Location: White Bear Lake, MN
Hi there!
My name is Lasagna, but I mostly go by Leia. My foster family says I love to snuggle and show of my goofy side. Although I can be a little shy I first, once I warm up to you, I will never leave your side. I am very loyal and always want to be by my foster humans, I also love to take naps and snuggling up next to the humans or my foster dog brother. He is teaching me how to play and chase balls in the backyard, but I am still figuring it all out but the more time I spend with him the more I enjoy playing. I really like it when we go for walks and explore the neighborhood. My Foster humans are teaching me how to sit and stay, but they tell me I still have some work to on commands. I come when I am called and and every good about going potty outside. I haven't had any accidents in the house which I am really proud of, but I do like to check out what is on the counters and escape my kennel when the humans leave for work. Lately they have been letting me roam the house with my foster dog brother and I haven't caused any problems. I can not wait to find my forever home!
Note from the fosters:
We are very confident that Leia (Lasagna) will be a great family dog. She is very loving and loyal and extremely friendly. We tried to crate train her, but she managed to escape the kennel, and we did not want to force her back in. We now let her roam the house with our other dog while we are away and have not had any accidents or problems. She is potty trained and very eager to listen and learn she absolutely loves to sleep in bed with you so we allow her to sleep in bed with us (our dog does too) any opportunity she has to snuggle up next to you she will take.

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).
Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
