My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

This beautiful girl is Lady. She weighs around 50 pounds and we are guessing she is 2 to 3 years old.  She came to LSAR with a litter of newborn puppies and did an amazing job caring for them. They are old enough to leave the nest and now Lady is looking for her forever home. Over the past two months we have gotten to know her well. She is the most happy and sweet dog that you will ever meet. She loves attention and is very playful. She is an amazing mouser and will happily keep your residence rodent-free in exchange for love. She does need some training as she gets excited and will jump-up. She has been doing a great job learning “sit” and “come” and she is eager to please. She is house trained. She gets along with other larger dogs, but we don’t think she would be good with smaller animals due to her prey drive, but we don’t know for sure. She ignores the horses in the neighbor’s field. She has an appointment to be spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped on 11/7 and will be ready to go to her forever home. Her adoption fee is $150. If you are interested in adopting Lady, please complete an application on our website lsar.rescuegroups.org.

Go meet their pets

Life Savers Animal Rescue has no physical shelter. Animals are housed in foster homes, so in order to meet a dog, an online application must first be completed and processed and approved. Then a meet and greet will be arranged. This process may be delayed should there be many applicants for one dog, so your patience is appreciated.
