Brisbane was born by emergency c-section on 10/30/24, and is doing very well. UPDATE: Brisbane is now 6 weeks old and his behavior shows it. He plays non-stop until he's worn himself and his mother out. This little cutie is very friendly, and outgoing, and loves everyone. if you're interested in adopting Brisbane, please submit an application.

Brisbane's WISDOM PANEL results: 54% Chihuahua, 3% Miniature Pinscher, 2% Toy Fox Terrier, 2% Dachshund, 8% Papillon, 5% Toy Poodle, 3% Shih Tzu, 1% Maltese, 11% Chow Chow, 3% Siberian Husky, 1% Kai Ken, 3% American Cocker Spaniel, 2% Welsh Springer Spaniel, 2% German Shepherd Dog.

The adoption process typically takes ~1 week. You will not take a dog home on the same day you meet him/her.

Additional adoption info

We require an adoption application to be filled out, an interview with one of our volunteers (this can be done at the adoption event), a home visit is required prior to the animal going to their new home.
