My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there! Iandamp;#39;m Malley, and Iandamp;#39;m ready to find my forever home after being adopted and returned a few times-none of it my fault, I promise! Iandamp;#39;m a fabulous feline who just wants a family to love and a place to call my own.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;One of my absolute favorite things? Hugs! Iandamp;#39;ll lift my little arms up like a toddler, just waiting for you to scoop me up for a warm embrace. Thereandamp;#39;s nothing quite like a good cuddle session to make the heart feel at home!andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;While I do need a home without small critters (they make me a bit too curious), I get along great with dogs and children. They add so much fun to my day!andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Iandamp;#39;m hoping to find that special someone who sees me for the loving companion I am, and whoandamp;#39;s ready to make me a permanent part of their family. If youandamp;#39;re looking for a sweet kitty to share your life with, Iandamp;#39;m your guy! Letandamp;#39;s create a beautiful, lasting bond together!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Hours:
Monday - Tuesday (by appointment only) | 11 am - 6 pm
Wednesday - Friday | 12 pm - 7 pm
Saturday - Sunday | 11am - 7pm

Please note that we operate by first come, first serve along with adoption approval. Wait times may vary depending on the time of week and day.

We are reserving Mondays and Tuesdays for appointments for members of the public who are immunocompromised or are still uncomfortable being in large crowds due to COVID-19.

If you have any questions about our adoptable pets, please call (913) 831-7722 or email adoptions@greatplainsspca.org. Our expert matchmakers look forward to finding you the perfect furry family member!

Adoption Requirements:
- Adopter must be 18 years of age or older.
- Adopters must complete a survey and present photo identification to meet any of our animals.
- For the safety and health of our animals, we do not ship pets.
- Pet adoption fees range from $60 to $350. Our adoption fees help to offset the cost of evaluation, housing, feeding and medical care for the thousands of animals needing our help. We do our best to keep our adoption prices reasonable while generating income to support our goal of caring for animals available for adoption until we can place them in a loving home. The adoption fee for each animal varies and is dependent on many factors including: age, size, behavior, medical condition, and public demand.
