My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Alton i s a beautiful 1-2 yo boy who recently found himself on the euthanasia list solely because of overcrowding at the shelter. This poor looks like he has not had the best life so far. He is very skinny and needs to gain some weight.

Alton is a lower energy boy who is very sweet and has done well with people and dogs. At this time we are unsure about cats. Since we had no available fosters, unfortunately, Alton is in boarding, and we are anxious to get him out into a loving home. We are not yet sure if he is potty trained but should do well when crated.

Alton would love to have a family of his own where he will be spoiled and given all the love and affection he deserves. Please don't let this precious boy keep waiting to start his happily ever after.

More about this rescue

The mission of Castoff Pet Rescue is to save and nurture homeless dogs; to match companion animals with loving, life-long homes; to foster responsible pet care; to control overpopulation in our community through spay/neuter programs; and to assist other shelters and rescue groups in any endeavor to benefit the animals. We believe that the same kindness, compassion, and generosity we extend to our two-legged neighbors should be given to our four-legged friends because they are not able to speak for themselves.
