Billy is a sweet, gentle little guy who needs a bit of extra time and patience to feel comfortable. At 15 lbs and 8 months old, he’s shy and easily scared by the hustle and bustle of the world around him. Everything is new, and he will need a gentle approach when seeing and learning new things. Beneath his timid exterior lies a heart full of love just waiting to bloom. Billy would love his future humans to be patient and help him explore and get used to new surroundings at a slow pace. He appreciates gentle words and soft pets and mostly appreciates treats! With the right humans, Billy will show his true, affectionate self and become a loyal, loving companion, building an unbreakable bond. Billy has done well with some dogs that are more his size, but is scared of any dog at first so a slow introduction will be necessary.
