Tux is a strong, handsome, 2-year-old pit bull terrier-mix. He's currently a skinny 51 lbs., and needs some TLC to gain more weight. Tux is friendly with people and enjoys treats, having his ears scratched, and toys, especially squeaky toys! He has done well meeting other dogs on leash, but with his size and strength slow introductions will be best if he joins a home with other dogs.
The adoption fee is $50 and before Tux leaves the shelter, he will be neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations.

The fee for adoption is $50, cash only. We have many great pets available for adoption at our shelter and during our offsite adoption events. There is no resident location requirement to adopt a pet from us. We have a friendly staff that will assist you in locating a compatible pet for your home and family.
