Onyx is a solid black male kitten, DOB Sept. 9, 2024. My favorite! Onyx is a people person. He will follow me around everywhere, and he was the first kitten to interact with me via play. Onyx likes to play with his brother and his sister, but prefers human interaction. He will be a good fit for someone who wants a cuddle kitten, and a kitten who will love to play with his human. His personality is just unique and he stands out in a positive way. The adoption fee is $150. This covers the cost of spay/neuter, PVR, Rabies, flea, tick, ear mite and worm treatment. We are located in Western North Carolina, but we serve New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and additional areas with our transport. The adoption fee covers the cost of spay/neuter, PVR or FVL-CP, Rabies, Flea, tick, ear mite and worm treatment before transport. All of our pets receive a health certification prior to transport. The transport is weekly. After your application is approved, we will contact you regarding cost and delivery.

Rutherford County Humane Society is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization that has been serving Rutherford County North Carolina since 1979, with the mission to significantly improve the lives of unwanted and neglected animals, and to measurably decrease this number through our spay and neuter programs, volunteer foster homes, and outreach and education. We are an independent organization that works in collaboration with other area animal advocacy groups. All of our efforts depend on our passionately compassionate volunteers, and financial support from the community. We have made the decision to use our resources to continue promoting the number one solution to our pet overpopulation problem - and that is spay/neuter.
