My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bad luck? Not a chance! This little black cat makes his own luck — literally!

We don't know how Eskel ended up so completely alone, scrawny and exhausted, but he must have known that he couldn't make it on his own. So one day he walked right into a busy flower shop, where he amazed the very surprised florists with his friendliness and eagerness to be their friend!

All day long, he snuck inside at every opportunity, turning the charm up to eleven every time he approached a new person, purring and trilling in joy to have their attention.

And as luck would have it, one of the talented florists just so happened to be an Angels foster parent! See what we mean by lucky?

Eskel is seven months old and only eight pounds of jet black fur, wiggles, and a purr that just won't quit. If you're looking for a cat that will absolutely be your bestie, following you from room to room, fearless and curious, then you have found your match! This total love bug even likes to curl up with you under the covers at night, purring away. He never wants to be far from the action, and thinks all humans are just the greatest!

The only thing that Eskel seems to be afraid of was a surprise even for us: this poor little dude is scared of other cats! So if you're wanting a solo kitty, Eskel would be the best of the best.

Other than a feline phobia, this is one brave dude. He's unphased by loud noises, groups of strangers, and large barking dogs. He would get along great in a big family, or a family with one or more dogs. He would even be an excellent shop cat — the florist shop was super sad they couldn't keep him, but when half the employees there had allergies, it just wasn't meant to be!

So are you looking for a gregarious, goofy, cuddly black cat, as classic as they come?

Well, luck might just be on your side!
