Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lacey is a 6-month-old Labradoodle from a reputable breeder in CDA. She is primarily a Standard Poodle with a bit of Labrador Retriever mixed in. Currently, she weighs 36.6 pounds and is expected to grow to between 50 and 60 pounds. Lacey is very outgoing and loves being around people. However, she cannot live in a home with cats, as she sees them as toys to chase.
She is used to a dog door to come and go as she pleases, she was mostly housetrain with very few accidents.
Lacey has a lot of energy and enjoys jumping around; for her, everything is a game. She knows how to sit, but only responds when she feels like it. She also understands the command "go to bed." Lacey needs a family that is consistent and has the time to train her, as she will become an amazing best friend with the right guidance.
When playing with other dogs, Lacey is gentle and prefers not to engage with rough or overly rowdy players.
She is scheduled for spay on November 18 and can go home the next day. She is pre-adoptable TODAY! If you're interested, stop by the rescue to meet our delightful doodle girl!

More about this rescue
We are dog and cat lovers who want to help decrease the number of healthy pets being euthanized. We do this through adopting pets to caring homes and by spaying and neutering every pet before it is adopted out. We operate a Thrift store named Critters, which is volunteer run with all money brought goes to support our "No Kill" rescue. Critters is located on the same property as our shelter. We take in homeless animals because they are in need and are unable to help themselves.
