Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there, I’m Coal, a 5-year-old German Shepherd with a striking brown and black coat that’s as classic as it gets! I may look strong now, but it’s been quite a journey for me. When I was first brought to the shelter on 09/18/2024, I was in terrible shape—malnourished and weak. My previous situation led to a cruelty case, but thanks to the incredible care here, I’m finally healthy, full of life, and ready for a fresh start.
Not to brag, but I’m as sweet as I am smart! I know all the essentials: sit, stay, shake, and lay down. With my gentle manners and big heart, I’m ready to be a loyal and loving companion. I haven’t been neutered yet, but that’ll be taken care of before I come home with you, and all my shots are up to date.
You can find me waiting at cage #412, just ask for Coal (ID 662041). I can’t wait to meet my new family and show you how incredible a second chance can be!
Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER.
