My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My foster writes:
Berry Pie is such a Sweetie Pie! He immediately started purring and rubbing against our legs when we first unboxed him. His favorite activities include naps on the couch, eating cat churros, lying under the desk while I work and sunbathing. He is very gentle when he plays. He has a beautiful soft coat and tail. He is a very typical cat except that he hardly ever meows! If you are looking for a quiet and sweet cat, BP is the perfect one!

What my friends at ACC say about me:

My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!

I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.

Berry Pie has shown excellent improvement since his last assessment. He was at the back of the kennel, lying on his side and twitched a bit upon seeing me approach but sniffed treats, came forward for them and then enjoyed petting, leaning in nicely almost rolling on his side with cheek rubs. He allowed petting all over an then came even more forward to look at the cat next to him almost walking out of the kennel. He was calm when picked up and held and remained so after being set back down.

Berry Pie interacts with the observer, solicits & appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for cat parents with either an average amount of cat experience or demonstrate a basic understanding of typical cat behavior.

I would do best in a home without very tiny humans, although I could be open to older human children once I meet them.
