Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Stevie (light grey tabby) and Louise (dilute tortie) are an adorably playful, bonded pair of fourteen-week-old kittens looking for their forever home together!
They are curious and cuddly kittens...these beautiful gals have energy for days and love to explore! Stevie is the first to come see what's happening. Louise can entertain herself with her tail or a mouse toy. Both girls will happily snuggle in for a good cuddle after they play.
These sweet ladies have tons of kitten energy, and love to play the day away. They enjoy chasing after their toys, will jump for hours at the wand toy, and love to play tag and wrestle with each other.
Stevie and Louise are searching for a family that can help them discharge their kitten energy! They like to spend parts of the day napping in the sunshine perched on their cat tree but also really love good, extended play sessions. The wand toy is their favorite, followed by a good old-fashioned game of hide and seek in the tunnel!
These cuties currently live with their five siblings. They have been spending time out of the kitten foster room exploring more of the house and meeting the adult resident cats, and they have no fear! They are loving their newfound freedom and are doing really well making new kitty friends.
Stevie and Louise's ideal home is a family that has lots of time to spend playing and snuggling with them. They are sweet gals who love human attention and love the action. They will thrive in a busy, active home with humans who are around a lot and who enjoy plenty of kitten shenanigans!
Stevie and Louise have spent some time around children and other cats and did well with both; they haven’t been around any dogs yet.
There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate. Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated.
Cats are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption. Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Pet Haven is a foster-based rescue. Our animals live with foster families until they are placed in permanent homes and their foster families get to know the dogs and cats learning important information about the animals. For example, the foster family will know if the dog or cat is good with other animals or children, and will have a good idea of what kind of training, attention, and special needs the pet may require. This makes our foster families great resources for potential adopters!

Our Mission
Pet Haven improves the lives of pets and the people who love them by rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs and cats; reducing pet overpopulation by supporting spay and neuter efforts, and providing resources to people that help strengthen the human-animal bond.
Our Vision
A Minnesota where all pets live in safe, loving homes.
Our Values
Excellence in service and care; community; integrity; innovation; perseverance; compassion; a rewarding place to volunteer
How We Help
Spay/Neuter Initiative Program: Providing support to end pet overpopulation in Minnesota
Owner Surrender: Providing a safe haven for pet owners
Foster: Committed to finding forever homes for cats and dogs
Phoenix Fund for Special Needs: Providing veterinary care for animals in need of healing
What We Do
We help dogs and cats find homes with loving families through foster-based care. Every dog and cat lives with a foster family until they find their forever families. We provide all of their basic needs including proper food, veterinary care, behavior training, and supplies.
Through in-home fostering, we learn about each animal’s temperament, personality, likes/dislikes, and any medical needs. With this first-hand information, we can then find the right family for each dog and cat.
Our volunteers also educate the public on responsible companion animal care and represent respect for animals at all times. Whether we’re working with prospective new families, meeting people at public events, or socializing with friends and family, we encourage others to view and treat their pets as members of the family. We are their guardians, and they depend on us for companionship and care.
We spay/neuter prior to adoption.
We microchip all our Pet Haven Pets and remain as a secondary contact.
We make sure all pets are up to date on required vaccinations
We test for Heartworm and Lymes in all our dogs and are transparent in the results and treament
We test for FeLV/FIV and are transparent in the results. We believe that cats who test positive still deserve a chance at a quality home.
We do not euthanize animals unless they have untreatable health or behavioral conditions that deny them an acceptable quality of life or makes them a serious threat to people, other animals, or themselves.
How We Operate
We rely on adoption fees, tax-deductible donations, grants, and special events to keep our rescue operating. Our staff, Board of Directors, and volunteers have provided the passion and commitment to keep Pet Haven a safe haven for animals for almost 70 years.
We are committed to preventing pet homelessness through the SNIP Grant. Since 2005, we have granted more than $240,000 to organizations in Minnesota to support spay/neuter initiatives.
