Say hello to Emma! A sweet lil' babe that can't wait to find her new cozy home. Kittens are outgoing, confident, and energetic little babies- usually for their first 2 years of life! New kitten parents should be prepared to cat-proof their living environment, and provide lots of interaction, exercise, and play for their new kitten. It may also be a good idea to consider adopting two of these precious little ones! Having another kitten to keep them company can teach appropriate play, provide companionship, and give them a fantastic outlet for all that playful energy. All kitties should have a small environment set up in their new home with food, water, toys, scratching surfaces, and a litter box.

Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.
