Artie is a sweet and gentle soul who has overcome quite a lot in his young life. Found matted and overgrown, crawling with fleas, he was left unclaimed in Detroit by his previous family. Despite his rough start, Artie has a quiet demeanor and a friendly disposition that makes him a wonderful companion.
This charming little guy is social and friendly, getting along well with other dogs. While he shows no interest in cats, he would do best in th company of older, dog-savvy children who understand dog behavior. Artie has demonstrated great house manners and is already crate trained, making him an excellent candidate for a loving home.
Artie walks beautifully on a leash, enjoys car rides, and has a good grasp of house rules. Although he’s not super food driven and not very familiar with toys, his kind nature and eagerness to please make him open to learning and exploring new experiences.
As a Shih Tzu mix, Artie will require regular grooming to maintain a healthy coat. His new family should be prepared to keep up with his grooming needs, ensuring he stays comfortable and looking sharp.

OUR ADOPTION PROECESS REQUIRES AN APPLICATION TO BE COMPLETED AND APPROVED BEFORE A MEET-N-GREET WITH THE ANIMAL CAN TAKE PLACE.
