Say hello to Zara! Zara is a lovely young Cattle Dog, approximately two-years-old and "mini" size, weighing in at just 30-pounds. Zara came to rescue with another dog, after being observed outside in the heat for a few days. She and the other dog were trying to stay cool under the shade of a tree. Despite online posts, no owner stepped forward for them. We don't know any more of Zara's past, but it seems she was someone's dog at some point. She is leash trained already, and knows how to fetch. She will chase and catch the ball, then drop it for another go. Zara has a fun and energetic energy level. She enjoys being active, but then is happy to cuddle up to you for pets. Zara is very affectionate with her human pals and loves to be loved. She also enjoys water and will splash and play in the play pool. Zara does well with the dog she was found with and could potentially do well with your dog(s) at home too. Please plan on bringing them in for an intro prior to adoption. We are unsure how Zara does with smaller dogs, or cats. Zara's adoption fee includes spay surgery, microchip, Rabies certificate, and vaccinations up to date.
