My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This boy is just downright sweet!

Caviar was born on a country property as part of a litter of 5 black kittens. We were engaged in fixing everyone, including Mama, with the intention to return to their outdoor home. As you can imagine, this time of year is quite crowded in shelters and rescues alike. Caviar decided to throw us a curveball.

This boy just wasn't having any part of the outdoor home thing, and he kept forcing his way into the home of the property owner - inside where a dog not necessarily accepting of cats lived. The rest is history.

Caviar is the cat who just happily plays by himself or with others. He has a great time no matter where he is. He LOVES attention and would make the perfect addition to just about any home with respectful children and other pets. He's UBER plushy!

We have some cats/kittens in adoption cages at both Pets To Go locations in Elk Grove. Several of our available cats/kittens are in private foster homes. If you would like to meet a specific cat who is in a private foster home, you MUST be preapproved.

More about this rescue

A local non-profit helping at risk animals in Galt, CA and the surrounding area. Our focus is on TNvR (Trap, Neuter, vaccinate, & Return). Through this process, we often will pull kittens that are young enough to socialize for our foster and adopt program.
