A Little Bit About Me

Meet Hazel, a young soul with a heart full of love. Her sweetness is as infectious as her playful nature. She may seem a bit apprehensive around other dogs initially, but once she warms up, she's as playful as a pup can be. She's friendly and adores human companionship, always ready to share a game or a cuddle. Hazel has a zest for life that's hard to match. She's an explorer at heart, always eager for a new adventure. Adopting Hazel means welcoming a bundle of joy and energy into your life, a friend who'll bring warmth and happiness to your every day. ***ADOPTION FEE PAID***

More about this rescue

We are a group of people dedicated to rescuing dogs from crisis situations, some of which include euthanasia by animal shelters, neglect and other forms of abuse, or "free to a good home" ads, which result in dogs being bounced from one home to another, or being acquired by animal brokers ("bunchers") and sold to research laboratories where they are used for testing then discarded ("cruelty industries").

NBCR&P works primarily with 5 herding breeds, and herding breed mixes. On occasion, NBCR&P also rescues and places other breeds. We foster our dogs in a home environment, rather than a kennel, if at all possible. We take pride in our promise that at any time and for any reason in the dog's life, if the need arises, he or she has a safe place with us ("return to rescue" policy).
