WALL-E is an affectionate, good-natured sweetheart who loves to play! His favorite things to do include pouncing on toy mice, leaping for wand toys and chasing the laser pointer. WALL-E is more of an active boy than a lap cat. However, he loves touch and will turn into a complete purr monster for brief periods of snuggling. He is also an excellent biscuit maker!
WALL-E can be a little timid when he first meets people or encounters a new situation, so starting out in a smaller space (with fewer spots to hide) will work best until he gets more comfortable in his new surroundings.
WALL-E had a bit of a bumpy start to life, coming to us after being found alone in a Walmart parking lot several weeks ago with an injury to one eye due to being scratched by another cat (our vet's best guess). After treatment and under the supervision of our vet, it was determined that WALL-E’s eye, although permanently injured, is healthy. However, because of limited vision in that eye, he definitely needs to remain an indoors-only cat.
Meet WALL-E at PetSmart, Bleachery Blvd, on Saturday, 12-4pm, during our weekly adoption event. Get $50 off the adoption fee of a pair of kittens. All cats are spayed/neutered, current on age appropriate vaccines, FELV/FIV tested, microchipped, dewormed and started on monthly flea preventative.
All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Contact the foster parent or Mountain Pet Rescue at pets@mpravl.org for more information.
Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.
Mountain Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax deductible charity (EIN 82-3039637) located in Asheville, NC.
