This lovely lady could easily inspire a chart-busting country song—she's as soft as butter and sweeter than honey! Pippit may have found herself on the streets at a young age, but she holds no animosity for the human race. This snow-white beauty would be stunning in any decor and is a great fan of warm, comfy laps. If you are looking for the quintessential lap cat, head-butting, purring machine to add to your family run (yes, run) to MPR to meet this little gem. Pippit and her sibling, Wren, were adopted from us as kittens but were abandoned by their owner when she moved out of her apartment. We are still looking for her sister as there are rumors she has been seen in the area. Pipit was brought to a vet by a neighbor who had been feeding her. She had sustained an injury (possibly a bite). When she took her to the vet, her microchip was linked back to us. Pipit liked her dogs and she was very fond of this sweet kitty. Pipit and her sister surely didn't deserve to be abandoned!!!
Meet Pippit on Saturday, 12-4pm, PetSmart, Bleachery Blvd. All cats have been spayed/neutered, FELV/FIV tested, microchipped, vaccinated (whatever they can have in the period they are in our care, some will still need additional vaccines after adoption), given dewormer and flea preventative and provided care for any known illnesses during their time with us.
All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Contact the foster parent or Mountain Pet Rescue at pets@mpravl.org for more information.
Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.
Mountain Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax deductible charity (EIN 82-3039637) located in Asheville, NC.
