Gayle is a sweet but shy kitten. She got stuck with 2 rambunctious boys in her foster home (unsure if they are related),so sometimes she just plays by herself instead of getting into the tornado of the tabby boys. She will warm up when given the chance, but it will take a minute. We suggest you let her get to know you first by starting her out in a small space like a bathroom where there are no hiding places. This will make the connection happen much more quickly than if she is allowed to hide. Her favorite toys are the wand and the pyramid with balls. The 5 G kittens came from a county shelter that was shutting down after hurricane Helene. Had we not taken them, they would have been euthanized as they were too sick to be transported to other organizations outside the area.
Meet Gavin, Gayle, Garth and Garek at PetSmart, Bleachery Blvd, on Saturday, 12-4pm, during our weekly adoption event. Get $50 off the adoption fee of a pair of kittens. All cats are spayed/neutered, current on age appropriate vaccines, FELV/FIV tested, microchipped, dewormed and started on monthly flea preventative.
All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Contact the foster parent or Mountain Pet Rescue at pets@mpravl.org for more information.
Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.
Mountain Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax deductible charity (EIN 82-3039637) located in Asheville, NC.
