MEET CAPTAIN! Well, if you follow our social media, you have already met her earlier this year. Captain is the tiny baby that came to us with a rectal stricture. It was a very difficult summer, but after some excellent veterinary care and several procedures over a few months span, she is completely healthy and released from all medical treatments! Her only requirement is to have canned food 1-2x daily (in addition to her free-feed dry) to keep her stool a comfortable consistency. Nothing further is needed for her medically.

She came to GRASP at just three weeks old, and was with her foster mom essentially 24/7 (coming to work daily and RV camping every weekend) so she is a very social kitten. She has always lived with other adult kitties and has been handled by kids. She is affectionate and has an adorable, unique personality!

More about this rescue

G.R.A.S.P. stands for Greece Residents Assisting Stray Pets. GRASP's goal is to give animals, primarily those picked up by Greece Animal Control, a second chance for a safe, happy, and healthy life. Before G.R.A.S.P., Inc. was formed, animals that were not claimed by their owners were routinely euthanized. We also strive to educate the public on the benefits of spay/neuter and the need to tag their pets at all times. G.R.A.S.P., Inc. is a non-profit organization and is completely dependent upon donations from the public.
