Meet Carter

Meet Carter, a big beautiful guy with a heart of gold. His gorgeous black coat has a dusting of silver throughout and he will charm your socks off with his expressive golden eyes. Before coming to the Rescue, Carter had a tough life on the streets and he has the scars on his ears and face to prove it. However, his spirit remains unbroken, radiating warmth and love to all who meet him. Carter's calm and loving nature would make him a perfect companion for anyone wanting a loyal and affectionate friend. He loves to snuggle and enjoys watching the world go by from his cat tree. He does fine with other friendly cats but would prefer a home without dogs. This gentle soul is seeking a loving and safe home to spend his days. Will you make his dreams come true and make Carter part of your family?

Carter is positive for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV), but don’t let that stop you from adopting him! FIV is only passed from cat to cat by deep bite wounds. Casual contact and sharing a household poses no risk. Don’t miss out on this extra special cat! Carter is around 8 years old.
