My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Caoimhe (pronounced Keeva)! This beautiful, 9-month-old Irish Wolfhound Mix currently weighs 48 pounds. 

Caoimhe, meaning dear/beloved, is perfectly named. This sweet girl is the total package: friendly, snuggly, and playful. Her gentle nature would make her the perfect pup for children of all ages. Although she'll sleep in her crate, this beauty prefers curling up in bed with her people. 

Caoimhe's hobbies include taking walks; hanging out in the yard; and playing with other dogs, toys, and bones. You'll find this sweetheart is friendly, outgoing, happy, and playful.

Although a fenced yard isn't required, it would be helpful so Caoimhe would have the freedom to thoroughly explore the yard. She's done a fantastic job with both house- and crate-training, and has stayed accident-free in her foster home. Caoimhe doesn’t bark much, but it's quite loud, so a home without shared walls would be best for her.

Are you looking for a fun-loving best friend? If so, Caoimhe would love to meet you! Her adoption fee is $325 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
