My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Spark- a young bundle of joy with a gentle heart and a knack for making everyone fall in love! This mellow pup is wonderfully well-behaved for such a youngster - walking calmly on a leash, sticking close by when exploring outdoors, and always coming right back when called.

Spark absolutely adores mealtime and playtime, and their little tail wags with pure excitement when they know it's time for fun! They get along great with other dogs and cats, making them a wonderful addition to a multi-pet household. Whether they're following you around the yard or curling up for a cozy snuggle, Spark will bring warmth, loyalty, and joy to your home.

If you're ready for a loving companion who's as sweet as they are well-mannered, come meet Spark you won't want to say goodbye!

Go meet their pets

Our pets are currently in foster homes as well as we have a program with the local women's prison. With the prison the animals live in the room with the inmate handler and receive socialization and training. We have just recently added dogs to our program with the prison. Generally the pets are brought to our office for their meet and greets and adoptions. We also partner with Ziggy's Cat Lounge in Bremerton for our cats and kittens.

More about this rescue

We are a small but mighty Humane Society serving an underserved county with adoption, spay and neuter, wellness, stray recovery, and other animal related services. Currently we are all foster as we don't have a shelter yet, but we have a 5 acre parcel we are going to build a shelter on. We have started the planning process with Shelter Planners of America.
